GAYA presents Lavera Island Mall, a large-scale commercial redevelopment project in El Shorouk City. Originally completed in 2008, the mall remained inactive for over 15 years. GAYA was appointed to reimagine and revive the entire property through a comprehensive architectural redesign — both internally and externally.
The project scope included full technical studies, design renewal, and operational planning to reposition the mall for modern commercial activity. Every phase was developed to transform an outdated structure into a fully functional and market-ready destination.
Full re-planning of the mall’s interior and façade to enhance circulation, visibility, and visitor experience.
Comprehensive financial and sales feasibility analysis covering costs, licensing, and revenue projections.
Coordination with specialized firms in mall management, marketing, sales, engineering systems, landscaping, and visual design (3D Max) to ensure complete project revitalization.
The redevelopment of Lavera Island Mall was designed to revive a long-inactive commercial complex — transforming it into a modern, efficient, and attractive retail destination. Every architectural, structural, and technical element was reconsidered to align with today’s commercial standards while maximizing visitor flow and tenant functionality.
The design reimagined both the interior and exterior to create a fresh, welcoming environment for shoppers and tenants alike. Circulation, lighting, and accessibility were optimized to enhance experience and efficiency.
Beyond design, GAYA managed the project’s full redevelopment strategy — from technical drawings to market studies and partnership integrations.
